The Hydrogen Generator is a machine that generates hydrogen and oxygen in the process of electrolysis. Electrolysis is considered as the cleanest option for industrial production of high-purity hydrogen and oxygen (hydrogen with a purity higher than 99,9%). The decomposition of water into oxygen and hydrogen by an electric current first carried out in 1839 by physicist Grave. 

In oxy-fuel cutting, steel is heated up to its burning temperature. A stream of oxygen is then trained on the metal, burning it into a metal oxide that flows out of the kerf as slag. Oxy-fuel processes use a variety of fuel gases, the most common being acetylene, propane-butane or natural gas. It often involves taking responsibility of storage and transport of these flammable gases. Explosion hazard associated with flammable gases transfer, may lead to the risk of their accumulation, leak – and as a consequence - explosion.

Oxygen (the mixture of oxygen and hydrogen produced in the process of cutting), might be used in automatic torches, instead of using the traditional gases, such as acetylene, propane-butane or natural gas. Hydrogen generator produces a continuously preheated mixture, without storing it.
